Growing Up At 300,000km/sec

Today I woke up an adult. When the hell did that happen? It seems like only yesterday I was in high school, rather care free. Now its the constant stress of tests, having three jobs, and paying my bills on time. I don't even have time to get sick, so naturally I have been sick for the past month. I realized when I was home with my family this past weekend that I will never get the chance to live at home again. The summer of 2007 was the last time that I would ever be a resident of my home full time, would that I could have realized that long enough to enjoy it. I find it absolutely staggering that I could want nothing more through my whole childhood than to grow up, and now that I have what I want, I would like the tags to return it. Why did I never take time to stop and enjoy being carefree and without debt? Why was work and moving on to adult life a better prospect? I suppose I just want to have whatever is just beyond my grasp. Regardless, I am an adult now, I suppose its time to start acting like on.
